Stories of Impact

Opening Doors Through Music

Instruments donated to ZUMIX in Boston help young people discover their voice (through music, songwriting, and performance) building confidence, creativity, and a sense of possibility that extends far beyond the stage.

Extending impact across borders

Through Tune Up for Tomorrow, donated instruments are reaching budding musicians around the world: for example, through the Albert Academy Brass Band in Sierra Leone, a historic institution that has shaped generations of young musicians for over 50 years. Each instrument expands access to music, strengthens a proud cultural tradition, and places new possibility in the hands of students eager to learn.

Volunteers Making a Difference

As Lucas spends time volunteering to collect and restore instruments, he’s not only growing more connected to music himself, but also he’s opening the door for other students to discover that same sense of joy and possibility.
